About This Course
Certified Facilitator: Pathway to Renewal (P2R) is the foundational professional training for providers and program staff who will use the Pathway to Renewal workbook with clients. P2R is a structured 26-week reentry, recovery, healing, and personal-development framework designed for people navigating justice involvement, trauma, instability, identity rebuilding, and major life transition.
What You Will Learn
- How the P2R framework and 26-week workbook are structured.
- How to facilitate P2R sessions with consistency, dignity, and clear boundaries.
- Trauma-informed and motivational approaches for engaging justice-involved and high-barrier participants.
- How to connect P2R activities to appropriate treatment, recovery, peer-support, case-management, or person-centered goals when used within professional scope.
- How to document participant engagement, progress, barriers, and next steps.
- Ethical, cultural, confidentiality, and scope-of-practice considerations.
- How to track progress and use P2R as a structured support tool without misrepresenting it as a Medicaid service or independent clinical treatment.
